This skill increases a character's climbing ability. The character can climb a rope at a rate of 3 meters/turn and vertical surfaces at a rate of 2 meters/turn. Ifshnits can only move half this distance due to their size. The character can also use the proper equipment to climb and rappel like a mountain climber. A character with this skill also learns to use such-sets.
Rope Climbing
At rank 1, the character can climb a rope at a rate of 3 meters per turn. This rate increases by half a meter per rank above 1st.
Climb Vertical Surfaces
At rank 1, the character can climb other vertical surfaces at a rate of 2 meters per turn, assuming sufficient protrusions. This rate improves by a third of a meter per rank above 1st. Vertical surfaces without sufficient protrusions can slow the climber down or even require a climbing roll to continue making progress.
