This general purpose discipline has many possible applications. The primary effect is to raise the temperature of the target (either creature or object). This could have any one of the following effects.
  • Heal 1 point cumulative per round of damage that was caused by cold (1 point the 1st round, 2 points the 2nd round, etc., to a maximum of 9 per round). Must be used within 5 minutes of taking cold damage.
  • Cause 1 point cumulative damage per round of concentration to a maximum of 9 points per round. If application A is used for too long, this application will take effect.
  • Heat an object (such as a large rock) to provide warmth to a room.
  • Warm food or drinks (though Discipline of Heat does this much more efficiently).

Inventive players may come up with other applications. Rate of temperature increase is 10 degrees per round to a maximum temperature of 200 degrees. Maximum mass that may be affected is 10 (+10/level) pounds.
