This discipline creates a dense field of heat energy around the pyromancer. The armor is invisible to normal senses but shines like a beacon to anyone with infravision.
While the discipline is maintained, the pyromancer gains a protection of (rank / 2; round down) and all damage from heat and cold attacks is reduced by rank. In addition, the armor can damage any weapon that strikes it with any significant force. The percent chance of this is equal to (rank x 2). If the armor is struck by natural weaponry, the attacker suffers 1d4 damage per 3 ranks; round down. Even if the weapon breaks, or the attacker is injured, attacks against the pyromancer still cause him damage. Energy armor cannot be used as a weapon. A side effect of this discipline is that anyone coming within 10 feet of the pyromancer will feel the heat radiating from him.
