| The pyromancer can instantly extinguish any or all non-magical fires within a 10 (+1/level) foot diameter area. The fires are extinguished instantly and will not spontaneously re-ignite, though they may be relit in a normal manner. The pyromancer also has a percentage chance equal to twice his rank with this discipline of extinguishing magical fires (e.g. Wall of Fire, Web of Dragon Flames, etc.). Note that this will not work on immediate magical effects such as fireballs. This discipline will not be completely effective against fires that are larger than the area of effect, but it will extinguish a portion of the fire equal to the area of effect. However, the extinguished area will quickly be re-ignited by the remainder of the fire. |
