The Telepath is able to infiltrate disturbing thoughts and confusing emotions into the mind of a subject. These thoughts and emotions are somewhat unpleasant, but not intense enough to cause a concrete effort (such as fear) in most entities. However, the thoughts will distract someone attempting to use an ability that requires a high degree of concentration to the extent that they suffer a -3/rank to their chance of success. This does not include normal combat but can be especially effect against enemy spell casters.
The disturbing thoughts last for 1 round per rank. The duration is decreased by 1 round per point of the target's WP over 15. Targets with a Wp of 25 or greater are immune to the effects of this discipline. |
