This discipline allows the telepath to temporarily “tap into” the sensory apparatus of a subject. The telepath sees everything the subject sees, hears everything he hears, etc. The subject will be totally unaware that someone else is “riding along” inside his head. Note that the telepath shares all sensory input experienced by the subject, including senses that the telepath doesn’t normally possess (e.g., infravision, chemical sense, etc.).
“All sensory input” also includes pain. If the subject is wounded, the telepath immediately suffers damage equal to 25% (rounded down) of the damage suffered by the subject.
The subject is allowed a save vs. this discipline.
If the target passes further than 2 (+1/rank) miles from the telepath, the connection is broken.
Those protected by a Mind Cloak, Circle of Protection from Detection or similar magic are immune to this discipline. |
