| Description: | NPC clerics will usually "ask" for a donation in return for casting a spell on a person. The amount of the donation is generally in the neighborhood of two silver, times the level of the spell, times the rank of the caster. Thus, a rank 10 caster may ask for a donation of 200 silver (5 x 4 x 10) to cast a level 4 spell while a rank 7 caster may only ask for 140 silver (5 x 4 x 7) to cast the same spell even if there is no difference in the effect of the spell because of the different caster ranks.
Clerics are always free to ask for more or less, depending on their reaction of the character asking for the spell. |
