Fast Healer
As the name implies, a Fast Healer recovers from wounds faster than most. This ability works automatically but assumes that the character gets a full night's rest, plus occasional rest during the rest of the 24 hour period. If the character's opportunity to rest is reduced, the GM will determine how much Fast Healer will help them, if at all. For example, if the character is a prisoner who is being subjected to torture and sleep deprivation, the GM may rule that their Fast Healer is only giving them a quarter of normal benefit.

At the beginning of each night's rest, the character makes a Hit Point roll. If they roll greater than their current Hit Point total, they recover 1 hit point per rank over the next 24 hours. This is in addition to hit points recovered for a night's rest as determined by the character's Constitution (c.f., Characteristics). If they roll equal to or less than their current Hit Point total, they regain half (1 HP per 2 ranks; round up). To make bookkeeping easier, the GM may choose to have the HP return at the end of a night's rest rather than having them return evenly throughout the 24 hour period.

The character must have a CON of 20 or higher to take this talent.
