Centaurs are half human, half horse. They are very good runners and can carry a lot. To determine how much a Centaur can carry without being encumbered, add 5 to their STR.
Most Centaurs are also very good bowmen.

The Centaur skill list includes:
- Language: Elvish - Centaurs have much in common with elves and many centaurs know the elven language
- Quarterstrength - Centaurs already gain a +5 to the STR for the purposes of determining how much they can carry. This skill enhances this further.
- Running - Centaurs may develop Running skill eaiser than most any other race.
- Weapon: Bow - Centaurs learn to use a bow starting at a very young age.
