Spelljamming
Rule Category:Spelljamming
Rule Name:General Repair Rule
In general, repairs to spelljammers are mostly fixing damage. Most attempts to fix things will succeed, even when a Failure is rolled, especially when performed by someone who is Skilled (ranks 6-9) or higher. Use the following grid for the general repair rule. The GM will come up with baseline repair cost, baseline repair time and amount repaired, usually expressed as hit points.

Repair Explanation
  • Max roll means no roll is made. Instead assume that a max roll is made. For example, if the base repair roll is 2d10, assume that 20 is rolled.
  • Best X means roll the repair roll that many times and take the best result. For example if the base repair roll is 2d10, then roll the 2d10 repair roll that many times and take the best result.
  • Repair x X means multiple the repair result by that amount, rounded up. For example, if the base repair roll is 2d10, and your result is .5, then roll 2d10 and cut the result in half, rounded up.
