Rule Name:Southern Sea Princes
Wallika
This beautiful island borders Kilwaki to the north. It is known for the most beautiful beaches in all of the Sea Princes. Their peoples are tried to preserve the natural beauty by building their cities from what the island has given them and keep it in similar themes. The island is mostly gentle hills with light tree cover. It is lightly populated across the entire island with a moderate population at Tika’s Bay, the only city on the island. This small port is found on the southeastern tip of the island. The governor of this island is Governor Richard Birchell.

Kilwaki
This island serves as the capital of its chain. Thresen is the capital where the notable Princess Am’ella Ko’than lives. Her island is known for its peace and stability. There is only a minimal guard on the island, mainly comprised of elders that act as mediators and the Peace Guild, which takes care of troublesome individuals. Crime does not seem to exist in noticeable amounts on these islands. This island is filled with gentle hills as well as a thick forest towards the northern half of the island. Thresen is located in the center of the island on the eastern shore. Princess Am’ella’s estate is located north of the capital on the edge of the Kilwaki forest. She has a small monastery of mystics that live on her estate. They constantly look over the omens and predict what will befall their islands. The governor of the island, underneath Princess Am’ella is Governor Walt Palmer. The population of the island is very light, mainly due to the thick forest over most of the island. Scryians make up the largest percentage of peoples native to the island, but there is a considerable mix. Thresen is fairly populated, but is not crowded. There are no other towns other than Thresen on the island. Only small fishing villages populate the shores.

Passenki
By far the most industrious of the island group. Passenki and the great city of Port Passenki is home to the Kilwaki navy. This navy is over 90 ships strong and well-trained. Most of the trade for the island chain is handled through this large port. Port Passenki is located in the center of the island on the eastern shore. It sprawls most of the bay for about 8 miles of shoreline. The city is heavily populated with moderate population density on the non-forested parts of the island. The governor of this island and mayor of Port Passenki is Governor Tanner Swanson. Passenki is a tolerate place with relaxed laws. It is known, as with the other islands of the chain, that some individuals are asked not to set foot on the island when sailing into port. The Peace Guild is known as the enforcer for these exceptions. They are commonly seasoned adventurers and very skilled.

Esseni
Home of the Kol’bar. Esseni is the original island where the Kol’bar race started its roots. Port Montego is the capital of this island and serves as the main stopover for many travelers. The island has no strict laws that are followed. Most people do as they please. There are some basic rules that are understood by all inhabitants. An elite group called the Fallundo keeps order on the island. Using a specialized type of magic they are very convincing for anyone. Their voodoo is a powerful deterrent for anyone breaking the few laws that exist. Prince Colimba leads his people from his keep in the center of Port Montego. Esseni is known for its fine smoking herbs that entice most travelers. They also have a large selection of nuts and spices to add to the cultivated goods. Most of the islands population live on the long beaches stretched across the shores. A thick forest fills the center of the island and keeps most of the population to their fishing villages. Ebmel is another large port besides Port Montego that is common among vessels. Esseni is one of the few islands that does not have any navy. It has also stayed neutral in the various civil wars and has been ignored because of this.

Little Esseni
Lieb is the only port on this little island. The rest of the island is dense forest and white sand beaches the are littered with tiny fishing villages. There is no government for this island, although Esseni looks after its welfare.

Kelashoni
An island of average size in the Southern Sea Princes. With the capital of Thinpa, this island centers around trade with its neighbors. Known for it’s production of Kelashoni wool, it trades vast quantities of this wool to merchants leaving the area. This wool is very warm and durable. It also has a very soft feel to it in it’s most common weave. The hills of Kelashoni support the massive herds of sheep, and most of the inlanders are simple herdsmen. Kelashoni has a small fleet of 30 warships, mostly traded from it’s southern neighbors that reside in its one port. Prince Zemphil is the ruler of this island. The racial mix is a balance with most inlanders being Scryian and most fishermen being Kol’bar.

Tentos
A small island just south of Little Esseni. Tentos is known for it’s great reefs and dangerous waters. The shark count is very high among these reefs and shipwrecks are just as common for anyone foolish enough to approach the island. There is a small beach on the southern tip that is approachable by ship. The waves are not as bad on this end. A small town of Thiron offers it’s hospitality to those who visit. The most common export for Tentos is a large amount of pearls and jewelry from various sea shells. The population is mostly Kol’bar and the island has no navy. Prince Po-Jole rules this island with a small contingent of Fallundo to keep order.

Preitos
A similar island to Tentos, Preitos boasts of the best fishing in the known world. A few reefs dot the western sides of Preitos but most all of the shores are approachable. Sharks and other large marine life is frequent among the nearby waters. There are many little fishing villages along the shores, but Port Decini is the largest and most friendly to merchants and larger vessels. Preitos prides itself on its hospitality. Kol’bar are the primary race and the island does not have a navy, except it’s vast quantity of fishing boats. Prince Milane is the leader and resides in the capital of Port Decini.

Botariren
This large island in the southern part of the South Sea Princes is home to Botarire, the city of boats. A large rainforest covers most of the island with the mixed peoples of Scryian, Kol’bar, and Allon descent living among the jungles. Botarire located in the south center of the island is the only real city of the island. The Botariren shipyards produce some of the grandest and beautiful ships of the seas. While they do not build complete warships, they do build warships and have them finished by other islands. The navy of Botariren is significant at 120 ships. Prince Heggan rules this jungle island. The population is moderately dense considering the amount of wooded areas on the island.

Legghi
South of Kilwaki, Legghi is the largest island of its group. A balanced economy fueled by the industrious hands of the Scryian and Allon peoples provides this island with much power. The main export of Legghi is it’s wide variety of agriculture and textiles. It also provides most of the sails used by the larger sailing boats. The island is filled with rolling hills with light tree cover. The island is known for its fertile farmlands among the Sea Princes. The city of Legghi functions as the capital for Prince Adnez, the ruler of the island chain. Two other large port cities of Seviola and Rhode provide several convenient centers for trade among the other islands. Legghi has a sizable fleet of 140 ships, which keeps its waters safe from the various pirates of the south.

Froghi and Sleghi
Small sister islands of Legghi, to the northwest and north. They have much of the same rolling hills with various agricultural products. There are no ports on these small islands. Only small fishing villages which ferry to the main island.

Taltas
This large island to the western part of the South Sea Princes is known for it’s mining. The rugged peaks of Taltas rises high above the sea making the island easy to spot from great distances. With high concentrations of silver and iron, the mines of Taltas make this one of the richest islands in the Sea Princes. With a strong economy providing the finest cannons that can be found this side of Putarrha Taltas is well known among South Putarrha. With a dense population Taltas also has a fine military which is certainly the best equipped. Their navy is the strongest in the Southern Seas at 230 ships. Prince Breshears leads this economic giant. From his capital of Jorgas he oversees the processing of ore from the mountains. The smiths of Taltas are also renown for their sturdy construction and design. Stokeas and Farnum are two other large cities that provide processing for the nearby mines. The island is covered almost completely in tall peaks, with only the shoreline as gentle hills and beaches.

Lahai
This island on the edge of the Western Seas is the last port of civilization before the wild waters to the west. Port Lahai is a well stocked city offering merchants and travelers whatever they need. Lahai has a lighthouse where the watcher sits. The watcher is an elder of the sea. This experienced mariner keeps an eye to the west and relays information about the seas around them to anyone who’ll listen. This honor has been passed down through generations of mariners from Lahai. Ever since the darkness to the West, their eyes have been watching. Lahai has no real exports. Prince Savaati rules the self-sufficient island. The island is very similar to Wallika in scenery. The population is light, except for Port Lahai, which is moderately heavy.

Allonja
The largest island of the South Sea Princes, Allonja sits quietly far to the south. Inhabited almost completely by Allons they are very independent and isolationist. They have a sizable fleet of 150 ships but rarely journey far from their waters. Their chain of islands, Allonja chain, is suspected home to many pirates. Allonians seem not to be effected much by the pirates activities and no other fleet has jurisdiction to enter their waters. The other islands of their chain are: Miegei, Bolgei, Cangei, Halgei, Engei, Zelgei, and Allgei. Prince Frelisk is the prince of this chain. He leads from the capital of Maske, along the northern shore. This island is similar to many except for its size. The center of the island is dominated by a large forest, while a southern section of the island has a group of rough hills, called the Crags. The population overall is light, while most coastal areas is moderate. There are various large cities among the main island: Maske, Nydam, Olexa, Lahti, and Naylon which all function as ports as well. Caola is a large town to the north of the great Allonja forest. It is the main inland town, which trades with all the natives in the Allonja forest. The natives in the forest are Allon by descent but refuse to live in a modern sense. They run wild in the forest with very few possessions. They trade animal products and specialized herbs from the large forest. The medicine men of these natives are able to strengthen these powerful herbs with special magics.
Two other islands of the chain function as centers of the Allonja peoples. Miegei and Bolgei. Miegei has the large port of Turgeon which is considered a pirates paradise. Most all pirates of the south seas come here to trade and barter for their supplies and trade in their loot. Turgeon is the only port where both the civilized merchant vessels and pirates intermingle without trouble. Allonja provides several ground rules to this port to keep it civilized but amnesty is granted to all who abide by the rules while in port. Bolgei is another large island of the chain with the port Dunnes. It is similar to Turgeon, but much smaller. Dunnes is also a bit dirtier, keeping most merchants to the safer port of Turgeon.
The island of Cangei, is the next biggest after Bolgei. It is not riddled with pirates as most of the other islands are, but it is home to a large following of Firnari. Firnari blesses their existence and keeps their simple lives happy. He appears as a gentle man of the harvest. The principle town of Delton is home to the temple of Firnari, this seaside town is just a bit larger than a fishing village, but all activities center around the temple. They have heard that Firnari is cursed to the east but they do not believe that it is the same deity or that they are simple lies by those who wish Firnari harm. The followers constantly wish the blessing of Firnari on those who pass by.
