SHAARILLA (GM): Does Frost Bolt have a chance of hitting allies if targeted at an opponent in melee? Are there any any other spells that don’t risk hurting her friends?

GM: Yes, a Frost Bolt can be fired into melee without fear of hitting a friend.

TYRA (GM): Does Orc 5 have better armor or weapons than the others? Is Orc 11 badly wounded?

GM: Yes, orc 5 has better quality armor and weapons. Orc 11 is dead.

MARTIN: Wonders if there’s some connection between our poking around the tobacco shop and these attacks. He will also note the orcs to see if they have similar or similarly styled markings/badges (or if they’re the same orcs) as the orc guards at the tobacco shop.

Outnumbered 2 to 1, Syl attacks number 6 but misses. Both of the orcs miss her.

Barnas is also outnumbered 2 to 1. He attacks the badly wounded orc 4 and kills him but not before the orc attacks him. Both orcs hit him for a total of 2 damage.

Lani hits orc 13 with a critical hit for 24 damage, killing him. This happens at the same time the orc attacks, but misses. Orc 14 steps into the gap and hits with a critical hit for 14 damage.

KC hits orc 7 for 2 damage. The orc misses.

Tyra hits orc 5 for 6 damage. Orc 5 attacks twice, hitting once for 0 damage. The other orc misses.

Morty shoots at orc 16 and hits for 6 damage. Morty notices that this orc is better armed and armored than the last one or most of the other ones he sees. The orc steps up and hits Morty for 5 damage.

Martin adjusts his position to attack orc 16 but misses. Orc 10 misses Martin.

Shaarilla has no targets to shoot at that would not run the risk of hitting a friend so holds her attack and saves her arrows. She moves up so that she is flying above the orcs about 30 feet above the ground.

Syl attacks orc 6 and hits with a critical hit for 14 damage. The orc is now badly wounded. The orc hits Syl for 2 damage after PROT.

Barnas attacks orc 4 but misses. Barnas gets hit twice, including a critical hit from the very badly wounded orc, for a total of 18 damage.

Lani hits orc 14 twice for a total of 7 damage. The orc hits her for 2 damage.

KC hits orc 7 once for 3 damage. Despite being very badly wounded, he manages to hit KC for 8 damage after PROT.

Tyra hits orc 5 for 1 damage. Orc 15 misses Tyra but orc 5 hits wice for a total of 7 damage after PROT.

Martin misses orc 16. Orc 10 misses Martin. Morty misses orc 16. Orc 16 hits Morty twice for a total of 15 damage. Morty is now badly wounded.

Shaarilla continues to watch for more opponents.

GM: Go ahead and send your actions for round 7 and 8. The Bless spell is in effect for round 7 but not 8.

SHAARILLA: What about the wounded ork? Might as well finish him off while moving into position to use magic on the melee orcs.

GM: Shaarilla sends a couple of arrows at the downed orc and kills him.
