The three monsters swarm up the outside of the spiral stair. One stops to attack Tyra, another moves up and attacks Morty while the last one goes all the way up to attack Martin.

GM: They are moving very quickly. Those with ranged attacks at the ready can get a free attack as they move into position.

GM: Everyone can send their round 1 actions. I will send the map shortly. The map shows the staircase in the room, with Tyra closest to the bottom, but still a good 10 feet above the floor, and Martin bringing up the rear.

GM: I plan to resolve round 1 tomorrow. Here are my assumptions for those who have not yet sent in turns.

Barnas - Hold action. There are no su-monsters near him.
KC - Try to get past Tyra and down to floor level to look around.
Martin - Attack the su-monsters on him.
Shaarilla - Cast Frost Bolt as the su-monster on Morty.

MortyMORTY: Morty will fire a readied shot with his pistol as the su-monsters climb the staircase, then defend himself with shield bashes the best he can once they arrive, since he can't fire into melee with his pistol if someone else is helping him without risking harm to that person.?? His angels are still around??? Or did the duration expire??? Can he get the enemy to target one of them instead of him, having it interpose?

TECH: Pistol shot [rolled 95-59 = 36 - Hit DEF 36 or less] for [rolled 1 3 4 (+4)- Total: 12] damage.

Shield bash [rolled 10] init, [rolled 68-12 = 56 - Hit DEF 56 or less] to hit, [rolled 3] damage, only LOW applies, [rolled 31] threat if needed, and [rolled 4] on the knockback table (plus damage rolled).
LaniLANI: Moves forward to assist Tyra. She is using her Flame Tongue.

TyraTYRA: Tyra will move forward to engage the evil monkey creature. She'll attack normally initially to gauge her opponent.

Lani moves up to assist Tyra against the hyper fast monsters. She hits once for 3 damage.

Tyra hits once for 10 damage.

The su-monster splits its attacks, targeting Tyra with 5 attacks and Lani with 5 attacks. Tyra is hit twice for a total 1 point of damage. Lani his hit four times for a total of 11 damage.

Morty shoots at the su-monster through the bars as it scurries up but misses. Morty's attempt to shield bash the monster is hampered somewhat by the bars but these also hamper the su-monsters attacks on Morty, though to a lesser degree. Nevertheless, the shield bash does hit the su-monster in the arm but does not dislodge him.

Syl misses with her attack.

Shaarilla its it with a Frost Bolt for 11 damage. The monster fails its save and takes the full amount.

The monster splits its attacks between Morty, the phantasmal angel and Syl. Morty gets hit 2 times for a total of 8 damage. Syl is hit 3 times for a total of 5 damage. It misses the phantasmal angel as the angel dodges in a realistic manner (with shield bash not as effective, my assumption is that Morty will split his attention between dodging and trying to keep the monster attacking the phantasmal angel).

Martin attacks the final monster as it scurries to the top but misses.

Since this monster had so far to go, it loses half of his attacks this round and attacks only five times. Martin is hit four times for a total of 4 damage.

KC moves down to the bottom. He is able to slide behind Lani and Tyra and reach the bottom of the stairs. The monster attacking Tyra and Lani is within his reach and he can attack next round.
