SYL: since she has no Psionics, she will grab the shovel and start digging.

GM: It looks like both Syl and Martin are going for the shovel. Go ahead and roll initiative to see who gets a hold of it first.

MARTIN: co-operative shoveling?

GM: And, for whoever wins the initiative roll, I will need a STR roll.


KCKC: I will use the Ring of Varax to bump my strength up to 25 which uses 0 charges. I assume this turns me into a Giant Badger. Then I will start to dig as fast as I can in the spot that Tyra indicated.
MartinMartin: picks up the shovel and begins digging...

Initiative 10
Tyra hits the death's head spectre with a grievous hit for 16 damage. Spectres are immune to grievous wounds but the attack still does double damage with no MPROT.

Initiative 9
Tyra misses the death's head spectre.
The spectre switches to attack Tyra, hitting for 2 damage after the MPROT of Lani's Intellect Fortress. CON drain is 3 points but 2 of them are stopped by the Intellect Fortress so she is only drained 1 CON.

Initiative 8
The spectre attacks Tyra again, hitting for 5 damage and 0 drain after MPROT.

Initiative 6
Lani attacks the spectre while maintaining the Intellect Fortress. She hits for 2 damage after MPROT.

Initiative 5
Shaarilla misses the death's head spectre.

Martin grabs the shovel that fell out of the crumbling backpack and begins to dig at the same time that KC changes from a normal sized badger to a giant badger by using his Ring of Varex and also begins to dig. Syl helps as she can by moving dirt out of the way. Those watching are amazed out how quickly Martin is able to dig. In a single round, he clears out 2 cubic feet of dirt and it doesn't look like he was really trying very hard (i.e., 4x STR roll). KC also makes good progress such that, by the end of the round, you have exposed part of an ancient coffin buried in the ground. It will take more digging to expose enough to lift the lid.

GM: Morty has a held action for round 9. Everyone else can send their round 10 actions.
