KCKC: (GM) I will send these to you and you can post what is appropriate.

KC: (GM) I will reduce my attacks to one a round if needed (i will not attack an illusion) in order to better determine which are illusions and which are real. As I believe scro 23 and 25 are illusions and they can not real. I will advance to where Martin is walking through them if I have to.

KC: (GM) a random thought. Could the silence spell be part of the over all illusion or is it a separate spell? Magic lore roll of [skillroll+28].

KC: (GM) I have to believe as a player that the first hit on me last round had to be max damage as I do have my +3 leather on and it has a protection of 6.

KC: My over all plan is to gather more information on number of illusions and get Martin's attention to watch me with hand signals.(and most likely Morty also if I see him.) Than I will just charge through the illusions to the door and go through it; with them watching me. If I am moving quickly, I believe that the illus I nest spell caster will not be able to manipulate the illusion well enough and I will be charging thru illusionary scro. If I can do it this round I will do it. But with the silence spell I can not see it. Most likely a two round plan.

MortyMORTY (GM): I should be much nearer to my cabin door, I had to open it to look out and shoot. As I see more and more Scro moving in I will be watching for signs that they are illusions, same faces repeating over and over, or repetitive movements.

MORTY: I will take careful aim and watch for an opportunity to take a shot at any new targets arriving. According to the map I have I have no remaining targets? Or are those held ones with the grey X? If there are fresh ones held immobile I will shoot them once each to wound them, or take a second shot at the least wounded one I see. I will fire away from my Lani illusion when I can since I don't want to give her away as an illusion by shooting straight through her. I suppose she can dodge it but why take chances.

LOWER LEVEL (Female Battle)

Lani hits her opponent three times for 23 damage total, badly wounding him. She is also finally able to get past him and dives through the door to the cargo hold, rolling and landing on her feet on the far side. The pirates' attacks all miss.

Tyra hits both of her opponents, one for 13 and one for 4 damage. Tyra gets hit once for 1 damage. As she is fighting, a dagger comes flying out of nowhere, missing the scro attacking her, but hitting her for 3 damage after PROT. After hitting her, the dagger disappears.

Shaarilla hits her opponent for no damage. Syl steps up to assist her, completely ignoring her own 2 opponents. She misses but it leaves Shaarilla wondering why Syl would ignore her own opponents. The reason hits with a flash and she studies her own opponent more closely and determines that it is probably just an illusion, though an illusion that still seems to have some sort of tactile component as it managed to hit her for 1 damage before she came to this realization.

GM: Note that both Syl and Shaarilla are fully within the silence field and cannot talk to each other.


UPPER LEVEL (Male Battle)

The Lani illusion continues leaping about and attacking some of the scro. Morty holds his fire as he studies the pirates more closely. He quickly comes to the realization that some of them are nothing more than illusions but also realizes that some of them are real. He is fairly certain that pirates 36 and 37 are both real. Pirate 37 is attacking the Lani illusion while pirate 36 is attacking Martin. Morty shoots at pirate 37. His first shot misses (grievous success on the save) while his second shot does 20 damage, badly wounding the pirate.

Pirate 36 hits Martin for 11 damage after PROT. Martin has 25 HP remaining.

KC, in ogre-size form with his head almost brushing the ceiling, strides forward ignoring the two pirates between him and Martin. When he arrives, he attacks pirate 36, determining it to be a real scro and not just an illusion. He hits it for 6 damage.

GM: KC is uncertain whether the silence is part of the same illusion or a separate spell.

GM: Martin can send another Disbelieve (mystery) roll now that he has seen KC apparently walking through some of the scro.

GM: At this time, only Martin and Tyra do not realize that some of their opponents are illusions. Tyra is not really in position to see Syl and Shaarilla very well though she can attempt a 1x PER roll to see if she noticed Syl apparently walking through some of the scro.

TYRA: [rolled 74 vs. PER 20, 4x roll] We'll see if Tyra will notice Syl and has reason to suspect these are illusions.

MORTY (GM): I will spend a luck point on my first shot in round 8 to force the scro to reroll his saving throw, I'm sick of wasting 'ammo'. I did raise my Spell Energy skill recently, do I have 2 charges left in the pistol of my 8 maximum or only one?

GM: Here is his reroll [rolled 46].

GM: The scro fails his save and so the shot kills him.

GM: Morty has 2 shots remaining.
