ShaarillaSHAARILLA: Shaarilla’s first thought is that they are nicely in a line, perfect for a lightning bolt. But there were a few problems with that. First, one of her companions was first in line. And second, she didn’t really want to throw lightning bolts on her own ship! So instead she uses her old standby, and tries to cast a Frost Bolt on the second one in the line.

GM: For casting, the keyword is cc-67 in square brackets. However, since you rolled a 66, which is success, I will just use that.
SylSYL: PER Roll [rolled 9 vs. PER 15, 1x roll]
TyraTYRA: Tyra exits her room and shores up Lani's flank by attacking the scro pirate coming from the galley.

Attack 1 (Giant Basher) - Init: [rolled 11], Attack: [rolled 113-35 = 78 - Hit DEF 78 or less], Damage [rolled 15], Threat: [rolled 6]
Attack 2 (Giant Basher) - Init: [rolled 7], Attack: [rolled 113-29 = 84 - Hit DEF 84 or less], Damage [rolled 17], Threat: [rolled 40]

TYRA (GM): If she can't get to the scro coming from the galley, she'll attack the one in the hallway from her doorway.

Lani steps forward and attacks the scro, giving Tyra room to get out and attack the one coming through the galley.

Lani hits twice, including a critical hit, killing the scro. Another scro steps up and attacks her but misses. Also, a scro further back throws a dagger at her and hits her for 2 damage after PROT. After hitting, the dagger vanishes!

Meanwhile, Tyra rushes out the door and meets the scro coming out of the galley. She hits twice for a total of 22 damage, badly wounded the scro. The scro misses her.

Shaarilla casts a Frost Bolt on the scro who stepped up to attack Lani, and hits it for [rolled 3 5 5 1 1 1 5 - Total: 21] for save for half. The scro has a magic save of 39 [rolled 90 vs save of 39 - Failed Save!].

GM: Scro 3 is now badly wounded.

Although the sounds of the fighting are muffled by silence magic, Syl wakes up when she hears Shaarilla casting a spell. Syl can act normally in round 3. She is not wearing any armor or helm, or carrying her weapons but all are nearby in her stateroom (-5 initiative to equip a shield and another -5 to equip a weapon next round).

Meanwhile, on the main deck, Martin and KC are blissfully unaware of anything untoward happening. Not so with Morty however. He does not hear the sounds of battle but feels that something is wrong. He opens his stateroom door and looks out. He sees three scro. Two have just attacked Cardiff, one of Godfrey's bodyguards stationed outside his stateroom. Another is rushing towards Morty'. Morty gives a shout of alarm that is abruptly cut off as the scro's silence magic impinges upon Morty's location. Nevertheless, it is loud enough for Martin, who is cleaning his weapon in the next stateroom, to hear. Even KC, relaxing in the Officer's Saloon, hears it.

Both Martin and KC can act normally next round.
