MORTY (GM): Will it prevent me from casting within that 3' area because it suppresses all Shadian spells or did I manage to refine it enough to only suppress Silence? If it suppresses all Shadian spells I guess I have to give it to another caster. Would a luck point on the Sorcery to make it Near Success be significant?

GM: Good question. My assumption is that you cast it only to suppress Shadian magic that causes Silence so you will still be able to cast. Using a Luck point to make it Near Success will extend the area from a 3 foot diameter to a 5 foot radius (10 foot diameter).

MortyMORTY (GM): Then I will do that. It's almost the end of the month anyway. <hint hint to others> If I think my Flash of Insight can help me I will use that too.

MORTY: In round 14 I will move back down the ladder to assess what's down the bridge corridor if possible and look for the invisible caster. I will watch each of the enemy as they come into the zone of 'unsilence' to gauge their reaction, hopefully I can get past the two that Martin and KC are beating down, using my small size to avoid them. If I use Power Perception can I hope to see the 'waves' of silence radiating out from its central point and find the spell or is it too homogenous? I assume once I get my counterspell in range of the central point it will negate the whole spell, at least as long as I keep it there?
LaniLANI: Lani continues to attack pirate 2, who is clearly a better warrior than the other scro she has fought. He has an effective -1 to his PROT since she found a weakness on him.

FIGHT ON THE BRIDGE

Shaarilla hits scro 21 but fails to penetrate his armor. The scro auto-misses his first attack and hits for 7 damage on the second. Shaarilla is at 11 HP and badly wounded (-10 to all actions).

Syl hits scro 20 twice for a total of 18 damage. The scro is very badly wounded, causing him to miss Syl.


BATTLE ON THE LADDER

KC hits scro 31 twice, including a critical hit, killing him. Scro 27 moves up to attack KC but misses because scro 27 is already very badly wounded.

Martin hits the already badly wounded scro 16 once for 7 damage. The scro is now very badly wounded. The scro misses Martin due to his wounds.

Morty moves down the ladder, dodging past Martin and KC. He sees no sign of the caster of the Silence spell. Those scro that Morty passes are too wrapped up in their own desperate battles to pay any attention to Morty this round.


BATTLE IN THE PASSAGEWAY

Tyra hits scro 33 twice for a total of 18 damage, badly wounding him. The scro hits Tyra with a critical hit (was a potential grievous but failed the roll to confirm), for a total of 20 damage. Since this would put Tyra at 9 HP, I will assume she uses a Luck point. The reroll is a miss.

Scro 30 also attacks Tyra but misses.

Lani hits scro 2 three times, including a critical hit, for a total of 38 damage. The scro is now badly wounded and misses Lani. Scro 3 also misses.
