LaniLANI: Knowing that she is unlikely to be able to affect the death's head spectre, she simply maintains the Intellect Fortress, using 1 END and, with sword ready, opens the left tent flap to look inside. The Flame Tongue is burning brightly, providing illumination.

Initiative 10
Morty attacks the death's head spectre with Psychic Crush but misses.
Lani sweeps aside the left tent flap, illuminating the interior with her Flame Tongue.

GM: Inside the tent are the tattered and deteriorated remains of backpacks, sleeping furs and other camping equipment. The skeletons of two long-dead bodies inhabit the tattered sleeping furs. The floor of the tent is dirt. A rotting leather backpack is near each of the sleeping furs.

GM: With mental perception active, Lani, Morty, Tyra and Shaarilla can all see that the death's head attacks are emanating from the dirt in the center of the tent.

LANI: Lani points to the spot on the dirt floor where she sees the mental attacks emanating from and says, "The death's head spectre must be buried under the dirt here. Does anyone have a shovel?"

Initiative 9
Shaarilla hits the death's head spectre with a Psychic Crush, doing 5 damage.

Initiative 8
Tyra attacks with Psychic Crush but misses.
The death's head spectre continue to focus on Morty for now, despite Shaarilla's recent attack. The attack does 11 damage and 1 drain. 7 of the damage and all of the drain are stopped by Lani's Intellect Fortress.

Morty attacks the death's head spectre but misses.

Initiative 5
Tyra hits with a Psychic Crush for 10 damage after MPROT.

GM: The spectre's mental signature is now bloodied.

Initiative 4
The spectre continue to attack Morty, hitting for 12 damage and 1 drain. The Intellect Fortress stops 7 damage and the drain, leaving Morty with 5 damage.

Morty has 8 HP remaining.
