MortyMORTY: I will be curiously listening to the combat in the next room, trying to figure out what is taking so long. Thinking (If this is truly not a very strong opponent, shouldn't it have been destroyed by now? Three on one is pretty good odds after all...) Early in round 3 I say, "Is everything all right in there?" but when the skeleton appears late in round 3 I will exclaim, "What the!? It just appeared out here and is attacking Randle! Has it been blinking around?" I will then wait a bit for them to respond (and presumably send a fighter to aid him), since I haven't heard anything definitive from them. I will mount up on the star shield if I am not already hovering on it, ready my shield, and take aim at the skeleton with my pistol, but hold fire for now.

MORTY (OOC): I have been chomping at the bit to ask questions and make suggestions but mistakenly thought I was too far away (on lvl 4 where we had camped and had the ogre tied up). Now that I realize I am closer I can at least register my curiousity and hopefully chip in some suggestions as I get more of the relevant information, Sadly I failed a Perception roll several times in Maptool on Thursday evening trying to learn more info sooner :(

KC moves to chest C, which has no lock on it. It just has a clasp which KC snaps open but the lid is stuck.

KC can send a STR roll to try to open it. He needs to make a 3x STR roll or better.

KC: trying to force open chest C. [rolled 85 vs. STR 15, 6x roll]. Getting a little frustrated at the last two chest being difficult to open ... I am going to invoke the Ring of Varex for 0 charges to grow to 7.5 ft tall and gain a strength of 25 for further troubles like these. [rolled 7 vs. STR 25, MADE BY HALF!].

GM: After using his Ring of Varex, KC easily opens chest C, only to find that it is empty. He starts making his way towards the containers at the back of the room (I, J and K).

Morty's PER roll was not that good but it was good enough to tell him that there is a lot of combat going on in the room with the chests.

MORTY: "Waitaminute... that's a lot of noise coming from there, especially if the skeleton is gone because it blinked out here... Are you guys still fighting? What?

GM: At the end of round 4/beginning of round 5, six more skeletons appear. Four appear in the room with the chests while the other two appear in the other room. One of them actually appears on Morty's Star Shield, standing over him.

GM: Syl still has an action for round 4. Everyone else can send their round 5 actions.

SYL: KC - what the *&^% do you think you are doing? STOP opening chests until we can clean up the mess you are creating...
