KCKC: Feeling frustrated as the zombie keeps moving around as he tries to attack it with his daggers."Hold still you blasted thing." He says as he slashes his daggers at it.

MortyMORTY: "That's odd, this skeleton has some kind of magic about it, I wonder if that's true of the others." I move around scanning others for similar magics, including the downed ones, they're far easier to scan in close proximity than the ones flailing about trying to kill me and my friends after all. Given my limited talents with power perception I have fairly short range and precision, I'm better off checking for it more like a yes/no thing than trying to discern the patterns at this point, unfortunately.

MORTY (OOC): Have we discussed that kind of thing? Do I know who is pretty good at judging one magical pattern from another, and from longer distance?

GM: At this point, it's a fairly safe assumption that all of the mages in the group are fairly equally skilled with Power Perception. There is one person who is rank 2 instead of rank 1 but that is not dramatic enough to say that that mage is significantly more skilled than the others. If the idea is to decide who should be the one to focus on Power Perception, and eventually be the one who buys it up to rank 10 (over time) then I will say that conversation has not taken place. When the group comes to a place where they can rest, it would be a good conversation to have, not only for Power Perception, but also for things like Alchemy and the Spelljammer skills.

GM: In this particular case, Morty suddenly recalls that animated undead always radiate magic as that is what animates them. Once they are destroyed, the magic should fade quickly. (GM: This is a result of an Undead Lore roll that I made for Morty.)
LaniLANI: Lani continues to attack the skeleton while hoping that KC can destroy the zombie. Meanwhile, she continues moving fluidly trying to avoid their attacks. She has been mostly successful so far, picking up only some minor scratches. Still she doesn't want to die a death of a thousand scratches.

ShaarillaSHAARILLA: Shaarilla continues to look for a target she can shoot at without hitting her friends, while sort of hoping she doesn’t find one. After her having a target means either more undead or that her friends are going down!

SHAARILLA: Couple of Attacks with Short Bow, in the unlikely event that they can be used.

SylSYL: continues to slash at the zombie that was attacking Morty. If it falls, she will either move to another zombie or use Sunburst if there are enough undead in a small enough space (7 foot radius)

MORTY (OOC): The zombie that had been attacking me is dead there is another one attacking Tyra that you could probably help with. The sunburst idea is troubling because it doesn't really discriminate friend from foe, it won't HURT our friends, but it may stun or blind or slow them down, not sure they can afford to be slowed down. If we get even more reinforcements appearing though, it will probably become necessary. The good news is that you can communicate with friends about the spell fully, right in front of the undead, since they are mindless and cannot understand your warnings to close their eyes, etc.
TyraTYRA: Tyra snarled in frustration after another hit from the zombie. She resisted the urge to keep putting everything she had into her attacks. Trying to calm her anger, she took several deep breaths and used more measured attacks against the skeleton.

TECH: Keep attack the skeleton with normal attacks. In the unlikely event that she drops the skeleton, she'll look for any other skeletons matched up against the wrong weapon type to help there.

Rd 6 - Normal Attack - Init: [rolled 6], Attack: [rolled 87-46 = 41 - Hit DEF 41 or less], Damage [rolled 8], Threat: [rolled 8]
ROUND 6 RESOLUTION

KC hits the zombie with one of his attacks but misses with the other. Lani hits the skeleton twice. Both of them attack Lani but only the skeleton for 3 damage after her PROT.

Barnas attacks the skeleton but misses. The skeleton also missed him.

The zombie turns to attack Syl but misses. Syl hits with a moderate blow.

Tyra continues to battle both a zombie and a skeleton. She destroys the skeleton before it can attack and then the zombie misses her.

Martin moves up to assist Syl but misses.

At the end of the round, another zombie shuffles out of the east passage and moves up to attack Morty but misses.

SHALILLA (OOC): Not that it would actually do anything, but did Sharilla get a shot at this new zombie? She’d been holding a shot since Round 5, so she should be able to hit on any init it appeared.

GM: Yes, sorry, my bad. Shaarilla hit the zombie with an arrow.

KC hits the zomibe with his dagger and finally destroys it. Lani hits the skeleton twice.

Barnas hits the skeleton on him with a critical hit and destroys it before it can get in another attack.

Tyra shifts back to attacking the zombie on her and hits it for a small amount of damage.

Syl misses the zombie she is battling and the zombie misses her.

Martin sees the new zombie attacking Morty and moves over to assist but misses.

GM: Go ahead and send your actions for rounds 8 and 9.
