KCKC: As I turn on power perception I will shout to Martin, "I'll be right there!"

KC: (GM) do I hear myself and can I see the radius of the silence field with power perception? If so I will move back out of it if I can to cast a spell. If not; I will advance drawing my Daggers to join the fray. Either way I will be in the fight in a round or two.


GM: KC can hear himself but Martin does not hear him.

KC: I also want to locate the scro with the silence spell cast on it.

KC: if able cast stoneskin 2 spell points, 7 segments, [rolled 3 1 (+2)- Total: 6] skins, [rolled 77 vs cast chance of 60 - Failed Cast Chance!]. I will work the spell up to the point that all I have to do is touch someone and hold it there. Then I will move forward and touch Martin and then enter into melee.


KC: Will us a luck point for a reroll. Rolled a [rolled 54 vs cast chance of 60 - Successful Cast Chance!].

GM: The spell works but the target needs to be next to you as you are casting it. Do you want to just cast it on yourself.

KC: (GM) yes I will cast it on myself.

MARTIN: Where did all these scro come from?? I’ll bet one of those boxes held a device that allowed the scro to teleport aboard. He needs to go over the side and into the void!
MortyMORTY TECH: Luck roll as requested [rolled 6 vs. LUCK 20, MADE BY HALF!]

GM: Morty notices that along the exterior bulkhead, all the way forward, there is a triangular area where he can still hear.

MORTY (OOC): I don't think this is a betrayal by Godfrey, or even his cargo somehow. It seems unlikely that they would wait two months to board us if they had a way aboard sooner. The only way I can see that happening is if it was some kind of tracker / beacon and it took them two months to catch up to us. Even then, who chases someone for two whole months just for a shot at a moderately valuable cargo and spelljammer? I suppose it could only recently have come into range and been detected by them, but that seems pretty farfetched too. We don't even know if there's another spelljammer outside, do we?


GM: One of your crew members is on watch outside and has not reported any other Spelljammers in the vicinity. It is highly unusual to see other Spelljammers when the ship is barrelling through Otherspace at 2,000 mph.

MORTY (GM): Hopefully I discovered this in round 3 when I was asking for it? I assume I used up much of my action finding it? If so, did my pursuer open my door already or not? I will yell at the top of my voice, "Alarm! Under attack! Scro boarders with a silence spell!" My plan at this point is to cast a Phantasmal Force in that spot to provide a copy of myself yelling even louder, same line, wait a moment to take a deep breath, and then shout it again, probably twice a round? I plan to spend 1 point on visual sense in case I want to nodify and use it later, 1 point on hearing, 5 points on programming, 1 point on increased range if necessary (I believe it will continue even if I move out of range if programmed that way, I don't have to maintain line of sight on it, but I have to bring it back into range and into LOS to alter it), and the rest of the 16 points on 'area of effect', which in this case I believe means louder.

MORTY (GM): Unless of course for some reason I can't think of right now, this is a stupid idea :)

LaniLANI: Lani gets discouraged seeing more scro streaming in from the hold and wonders where they are coming from. The crates that the Void Wanderer took on at Fangora were not large enough to hold these pirates. She continues to attack while trying to force her way back, even if it means being outnumbered. Acrobatics roll to move aft [rolled 90 (Partial Success)].

SylSYL: heard Sharilla casting spells, can she hear anything now that she is standing in her doorway?

SYL (if yes): cast Wall of Darkness behind the fighting so the Scro have to go through it to get to us. Cast Chance 61 init [rolled 1], [rolled 4 vs cast chance of 61 - Critical Success!!]

SYL (if no): move back to join Sharilla and cast Magic Missile since i don't think there is enough room for 3 people in the hall Init [rolled 10], [rolled 38 vs cast chance of 53 - Successful Cast Chance!]

GM: Syl is not in the silence field when she begins casting and she can easily hear Shaarilla casting as well.
TyraTYRA: Tyra continues attacking her opponent expecting it to drop any minute now and will be ready for another to take its place. She will peer down the hallway into the cargo hold to see if there's anything of interest.

LOWER LEVEL

Tyra attacks scro 4 and hits twice, killing it. Another scro steps up and attacks but misses.

Lani hits scro 7 three times for a total of 20 damage, badly wounding him. She also manages to push him back to the wider part of the corridor a bit, but this allows two of the scro to attack her. Both miss. Scro 2 throws his dagger at Lani again and hits her for 3 damage after PROT and DR. Again, the dagger misses both of the scro that Lani is engaged with.

Shaarilla casts a Frost Bolt at scro 15 using 14 points of her Sorcery Pool. The scro takes 22 damage, or half if he makes his saving throw [rolled 40 vs save of 39 - Failed Save!].

GM: Scro 15 took 22 damage, badly wounding him.

Syl casts a Wall of Darkness in the doorway from the cargo hold hoping that no one will be in the doorway when the spell goes off (the spell cannot be cast on top of any entities or it will fail).

GM: Make a 2x LUCK roll for Syl to see if she is able to thread the needle and place the spell in a place unoccupied by scro when she finishes casting.

SYL: Luck Roll [rolled 63 vs. LUCK 20, 4x roll]

SYL: And if necessary she will use a Luck point (should have sent this on Saturday!!) [rolled 28 vs. LUCK 20, 2x roll]


GM: With a LUCK point, Syl was able to put the barrier right in the doorway in between scro coming through.


UPPER LEVEL

Cardiff kills scro 10.

Martin does 12 damage to scro 12. Both pirates hit Martin for a total of 15 damage.

KC watches from the corner and casts Stoneskin on himself.

Morty moves to the corner of the room where he can still hear and cast and he casts a Phantasmal Force of himself and then begins yellowing loudly. By this time however, everyone in the group is already aware. However, even Shaarilla and Syl on the Cargo Deck can hear him, telling them that there are more scro up on the Main Deck. That would seem to indicate that they are coming up through cargo hatch.

A scro opens the door the Godfrey's room but the agent is already up and apparently aware that something is amiss. He attacks the scro and hits him.
