MortyMORTY: Relieved of my immediate obligation and distractions, I will expend a spell point on Witchsight to look around for an invisible illusionist. Once I've done so I will go back up the ladder and scan the corridor upstairs, then back into my room to find the spot where the silence field doesn't reach. Assuming I don't see something that makes me change my mind ;) My Lani illusion will have to come with me, unfortunately, but I will have it reform into a Martin illusion once inside my room. I will also pay attention to when the Scro writing disappears off my illusion, that will indicate where the enemy illusionist loses line of sight.

FIGHT ON THE BRIDGE

Syl hits scro 20 for 4 damage. The scro hits Syl for 6 damage after PROT.

Scro 21 hits Shaarilla twice, including a critical hit. I will assume Shaarilla will use a Luck point. The reroll is a normal hit. Shaarilla takes a total of 11 damage and is now badly wounded. Shaarilla has an action and can attack back (probably before she got hit and reduced to Badly Wounded if she rolls an initiative of 5 or better).


BATTLE ON THE LADDER

KC hits scro 31 twice for 11 damage. The scro hits KC for 5 damage after PROT.

Martin hits scro 8 once for 12 damage, killing him. Scro 16 steps up and hits Martin for 6 damage.

Morty scans for an invisible mage with Witchsight but does not see one. He heads up the ladder and finds that he is out of the silence field on the main deck. The writing disappears off the illusion as Morty reaches the main deck. Morty has a half action remaining.


BATTLE IN THE PASSAGEWAY

Tyra hits scro 34 twice, including a critical hit, for 34 damage. She immediately steps forward to engage scro 33. Scro 33 and 30 attack her. She gets hit once for 2 damage after PROT.

Lani hits scro 2 twice, including a critical hit, for 22 damage. Scro 2 is now badly wounded. Both of the scro miss her.


MORTY (GM): Can I cast with my remaining action? What about that idea of a counterspell on an object that I can then move in to cancel the Silence? Did I need to use Sorcery to make that happen? What rolls would I need to make? I'm under the impression a Spell Store could not be used because the command word could not be uttered once I re-entered the Silence field?

GM: Yes you can attempt a counterspell on an item (let me know what item) to cancel the Silence field in a diameter area. Go ahead and make a Sorcery skill roll first and then make a cast chance roll for Counterspell.


SHAARILLA (OOC): Not that she’s likely to accomplish anything on her own… Hopefully should get some help before she dies!
