GM: I plan to resolve round 4 on Monday. Here are my assumptions for those who have not yet sent in turns.


Barnas - Continue to hold action.
KC - Look around the room.
Martin - Attack the su-monster
Morty - Continue to concentrate on defense and the phantasm.
Shaarilla - Cast another Frost Bolt at the su-monster.
Syl - Attack the su-monster.

Barnas
KCKC: He casts a softlight cantrip, depending on the high mana content in the area to give it the power to work. Then he will take a look around the area at the bottom of the stairs.
MartinMartin: continue to attack the Su-monster...

Attack 1, Init [rolled 11], Strike Chance [rolled 99-81 = 18 - Hit DEF 18 or less], DMG [rolled 9], Threat [rolled 85]

Morty
LaniLANI: Lani will move back up the stairs and be in a position where she can help out Morty and Syl if an opening presents itself. She will stay out of the way of Shaarilla as she casts her spells.
ShaarillaSHAARILLA: Shaarilla takes to the air so as to be out of the way, out of reach of the monkeys, and to have a clear view of the monkeys for targeting spells. Cast Frost Bolt at Morty's opponent.

TECH: Initiative [rolled 8], CC 58 [rolled 41 vs cast chance of 58 - Successful Cast Chance!], Damage [rolled 5 4 6 5 - Total: 20], Cast Time 6, 1 spell point.
SylSYL: She will continue to hack at the Su-Monster attacking her and Morty

SYL: Init [rolled 7], SC [rolled 99 - Automatic miss!], Dam [rolled 1 4 (+2)- Total: 7], Threat [rolled 18]
TyraTYRA: Tyra will look for a way to help combat the remaining creatures. If she can't do so, she'll scan the area below them to make sure no more are coming.

Tyra moves down the spiral staircase and joins KC at the bottom. KC attempts to put up a Soft Light cantrip, hoping that the mana in the tower would suffice but it does not so he pulls out some flint and steel while Trya shrugs off her backpack to pull out a torch.

Lani moves up the staircase past Barnas, who is keeping a watchful eye on everyone. As she moves past the cleric, Shaarilla leaps off the stairs and spreads her wings. This allows Lani to move up behind Morty. She lets him know she is there in case he wants to try to switch places.

GM: DEX roll from both to switch places. If both make a 2x DEX roll, they switch with no problem and Lani can attack at the end of the round (-7 Init, -25 SC)

LANI: DEX 26 (so 2 rolls taking the best) [rolled 4 vs. DEX 26, MADE BY A QUARTER!!!], [rolled 47 vs. DEX 26, 2x roll]

MORTY: When Lani offers to switch places with me I will do so immediately, it's pretty much what I was waiting for, keeping them busy until others could come help.

MORTY TECH: Dex 24- [rolled 80 vs. DEX 24, 4x roll]


Syl attacks the su-monster and misses. Shaarilla hits it with a Frost Bolt for 20 damage (it failed its save). The su-monster is Bloodied. It attacks the phantasm 4 times, Morty 3 times and Syl three times.

It hits Morty all three times for a total of 10 damage. Morty is now badly wounded.

It hits Syl twice for a total of 2 damage.

Martin and Finn continue to battle the uppermost su-monster. Martin hits once for 9 damage. Finn hits twice, including a critical hit, killing the creature, but not before it gets three attacks in, one on Martin and two on Finn. Martin is hit once for 0 damage. Finn is missed.

GM: Need a DEX roll from Morty if he wants to switch places with Lani.

Morty steps back and Lani moves forward and attacks with a martial arts fist attack.

GM: Because she make a quarter roll, she does not suffer the -25 DEX penalty.

LANI: (MA Fist) - SC [rolled 118-23 = 95 - Hit DEF 95 or less], Dmg [rolled 6], Threat [rolled 79]

GM: Lani hit for 3 damage.

GM: Everyone can send their round 5 actions.
