GM: Keith, is Morty going to continue to hold his action or do you want him to cast some Faerie Fire spells?

GM: Joe, will Shaarilla attempt some Frost Bolts on any of the warriors?

TYRA (OOC): Both seem like good options if this is our last fight. It's hard to tell how things are going in this battle but Tyra is slowly making progress but I don't have a sense of how quickly she'll beat her opponent.

TYRA (GM): Steve, does Tyra have a sense of how effective she and Lani are against their opponents. I had the idea that we should team up on one to get it out of the way.


MORTY (GM): I was looking for more intel on round 3, but I suppose it has become obvious that the best I can do to help is a meager few percentage points of effect for our melees. So be it. (And yes, I do know it's 10%, but only 2 rounds, and only 45% cast chance, so net effect is one in 30 blows might actually be benefited from this spell.)

MORTY: "We need to gang up on them as much as we can, get rid of one of their numbers before they get rid of one of ours."

Round 4+ MORTY TECH: I will cast Faerie Fire first on Martin and Syl's opponent since they have the best damage potential, then on any other outnumbered one, on down the line. 1 spell point per attempt, and as each one wears off unless I see that the opponent is very badly wounded I will recast it. I will use the spell pool to make a success if the opportunity arises.

GM: For the sake of simplicity, I am going to assume that the 2 successful spells were cast in the previous rounds and will be active for rounds 5, 6, 7 and 8. Morty is down 4 spell points.

GM: Also, I will assume that the group will also take Tyra and Morty's advice to gang up. You can easily do this by having Martin turn and attack warrior 3 and having Tyra move to help Lani. Syl could then focus her efforts to simply holding off warrior 4. This will allow those fighting warrior 3 to gain a +14 outnumbering bonus, plus another +10 for a Faerie Fire. Tyra and Lani will not gain outnumbering bonuses because it will still be 2 on 2 but will gain a +10 for the Faerie Fire for a few rounds. I will assume that Syl goes fully defensive.

GM: These actions will hopefully turn the tide of the battle in your favor.

ROUND 5
BarnasBARNAS: The young cleric gaining a bit more confendince in the fact that that he can fight... Starts putting extra effort into his blows.

KCKC: He uses the same approach for for the rest of the battle. (All bonuses are included and round actions too.)

TyraTYRA: Feeling the urge to make more progress in the combat, Tyra pushes her next two attacks.

Martin tells Syl, "Hold this guy for a bit while I help Barnas and KC take out the one in the middle." Martin successfully disengages and the warrior turns to attack Syl instead. This is easily accomplished indicating a lack of tactical initiative on the part of warrior 4.

Lani successfully finds a weakness and then hits warrior 1 for a little damage. Tyra hits (due to Faerie Fire) for very good damage. Warrior 1 misses Lani. Warrior 2 hits Tyra for 4 damage after PROT.

Barnas hits warrior 3 for a little damage, KC hits but does no damage and Martin hits (due to outnumbering/Faerie Fire) for very good damage. Warrior 3 hits KC for 1 damage after PROT.

Syl defends against warrior 4 and gets missed.

Barnas hits warrior 3 for no damage. KC hits for a small amount of damage (due to outnumbering/Faerie Fire). Martin hits for decent damage. Warrior 3 misses KC. Warrior 3 is now Bloodied.

Syl defends against warrior 4 and gets missed.

GM: The general sense is that these guys are fighting like low intelligence fighters except that you are not seeing any blood from the wounds.

GM: Go ahead and send actions for round 7 & 8. The Bless is now gone but Lani and Tyra will gain a +10 due to Faerie Fire for these 2 rounds. Barnas, KC and Martin will gain a total of +24 due to Faerie Fire and outnumbering. I suggest that Syl remain fully defensive.
