Like most magical helms, the Helm of Knowledge will adjust somewhat to the look and feel of any armor worn. If no armor is worn, the helm appears has a thick leather helm. It has the following properties:
- Protection: +1 Protection when worn with armor. It can be worn without armor but the bonus does not stack with Bracers of Protection, Rings of Protection or Cloaks of Protection. After 6 months of attunement, the bonus increases to +2 Protection.
- Knowledge: The attuned wearer gains a bonus to KNOW when the helmet is worn. Bonus depends on current KNOW:
- KNOW of 10 or less - +3 KNOW
- KNOW of 11 to 19 - +2 KNOW
- KNOW of 20 to 24 - +1 KNOW
- KNOW of 25 or higher - +0 KNOW
- Psionic Battle Charm - The helm functions as a +1 Psionic Battle Charm.
