This magic ring allows the attuned wearer to recover spell points at a rate of 1 point per hour. Such spell point recovery takes the place of the normal recovery process for spell points.
Fully 85% of these rings have a side effect where they are not compatible with Pendants of Power. If a mage is attuned to a Pendant of Power, they will not be able to attune to this ring. If a mage who is attuned to this ring obtains a Pendant of Power, they will be able to attune to it but, as soon as the attunement process is complete, their attunement to this ring is lost and they must attune again after getting rid of the Pendant of Power.
Items other than Pendants of Power, that grant the mage additional spell points may or may not have the same effect, depending on the item. The GM will determine whether the item will work with this ring.
The ring does not recover spell points while the mage is engaged in ritual magic. |
