This arrow functions exactly like a +1 arrow (+5 SC, +1 Dmg) except that, as soon as it is fired, the arrow becomes incorporeal and will go right through normal creatures causing no damage. However, if the arrow strikes a non-corporeal creature, such as a ghost or wraith, it causes an additional 2d6 damage over and above the normal damage of the arrow.
The arrow is a single use item whose magic is gone once fired, whether it hit its intended target or now.
Ethereal Arrows can be found individually or in bundles of 2d4, at the GM's discretion. |
