This magical rod is enscribed with magical writing that only someone who is attuned to it can see (takes 24 hours to attune). However, the rod does not require attunement to use (only to see the command words). Natively, the rod is 6 feet long when all pieces are available. In this form, the rod also functions as a +10/+2 quarterstaff.
Command Words
- Affligo - Concentrate on rod and break into 2-6 pieces. No piece can be shorter than 1 foot.
- Reformare - All pieces within 5 feet reform into rod. For example, if there are only 3 one foot sections within 5 feet, it will reform into a 3 foot long rod.
- Subiungo - A piece of the rod can be held against a solid object and it will stick there.
- Solvo - Releases grip from above.
Also, if one piece is more than 10 feet from any other piece, it will eventually (24 hours?) fall to the ground. |
