When this arrow is fired, it immediately splits into up to five separate arrows that fly towards up to five different targets within range and generally within a 60 degree arc in front of the archer (30 degrees on either side of front facing). A separate attack roll is made for each of the five arrows. Each arrow functions as a +1 arrow (+5 SC, +1 Dmg).
If there are less than five potential targets, then the arrow splits into the maximum number of potential targets, up to five. The archer mentally "paints" the targets prior to shooting and the arrow picks up on where to go. No two arrows of a multi arrow can target the same target.
The arrow is a single use item whose magic is gone once fired, whether it hit its intended target or now.
Multi Arrows can be found individually or in bundles of 1d4, at the GM's discretion. |
