When this spell is cast, 1d4 points of life draining is restored (usually in the form of restored CON). This reverses any previous life energy drain of the creature by a force or monster. Thus, if a 25 CON character had been struck by a wight and drained of 3 CON, the restoration spell would restore 1d4 of the lost points. Restoration is effective only if the spell is cast within one day of the recipient's loss of life energy, per level of the priest casting it. A restoration spell restores the intelligence of a creature affected by a feeblemind spell. It also negates all forms of insanity.

Casting this spell is very tiring and both the caster and recipient will be drained of 2d6 CON. This CON will recover at a rate of 1 point per 2 hours.
