Upon casting this spell, the paladin takes on an aura of power. Low and medium intelligenct (INT 14 or less) creatures will automatically assume that the paladin is the leader and the most significant threat and are more likely to focus their attacks on him. Creatures of high intelligence (INT 15 to 22) are allowed a save to realize avoid the affect and act as they choose. If they fail, and they have an easy choice of targets, they will target the paladin instead of others. Creatures with an INT of 23 or higher are immune to this effect.

The effect covers everyone able to clearly see the paladin.

Two side effects of the aura are that the paladin sheds light in a 20 foot radius, and he gains a +10 to his Defense. Additionally, all allies within 20 feet gain a bonus of +5 to Defense.
