This spell gives the target a Luck point (c.f., Characteristics - Luck). If the Luck point is not used prior to the end of the spell duration, the point is lost.
This spell cannot increase the target's current Luck points beyond 2. If the target already has 2 or more Luck points (due to high Luck, etc.), the spell has no effect.
Note that Luck points are actually not a player concept so characters are not aware of them. However, a cleric who has prayed for this spell will understand who can benefit from the spell. They will basically know if potential targets have 0 or 1 Luck points currently available. |
