While the green mage is uttering the words of this spell, his arms undergo a transformation into a pair of large, feathered wings that will allow the mage to fly at a TMR of 30 + (rank x 4) - half speed climbing and double while diving. The mage's back must be bare or the spell will fail. The mage may not cast any spells while using this spell (he has no arms) until reaching 15th level. At rank 15, the wings grow from the mage's back rather than his arms. The green mage may only cast this spell on himself until he reaches cast level 22, at which time, he may cast this spell on another creature.
Maneuverability improves with rank.
- Ranks 1 to 10 - Class E
- Ranks 11 to 14 - Class D
- Ranks 15 to 18 - Class C
- Ranks 19 to 22 - Class B
TMR can also be sacrificed for maneuverability. By sacrificing half TMR, maneuverability can be improved by one class. Thus, a rank 10 mage could choose to cast this spell to allow TMR 70 and Class E maneuverability, or TMR 35 and Class D maneuverability. |
