This spell is used to attempt to restore 1 point of CON drained by undead draining attacks. It must be used within 1 hour per rank of the time of draining (24 hours at rank 21, 48 hours at rank 22). If more time has passed, this spell cannot restore the lost CON.
If the spell is successfully cast, the target is allowed a ((current CON + Rank) x 2) roll to recover 1 point of CON lost to undead draining. If the roll fails, the mage may cast the spell again, provided it has not been more than 1 hour per rank since the draining took place.
Note that this spell can also be used to restore other characteristics, such as STR, drained by undead or other negative energy attacks. In such cases, CON is still used for the roll to see if the point is recovered.
If critical success is rolled, choose one of the two benefits listed below. If grievous success is rolled, choose both benefits, or choose to double one of the benefits.
- +1 point recovered if (current CON + Rank) roll is successful.
- +10 bonus to (current CON + Rank) roll.
