The mage can completely repair a single item weighing not more than 1 lb per rank, restoring it like-new condition. Targeted items must have been broken/damaged through normal wear and tear or from damage caused by combat, falling, etc. The spell cannot mend an item that disintegrated due to age. Initially he may only repair non-magical items of wood, cloth, leather, rope, paper etc. At rank 5, he can repair magical items of wood, cloth, leather, rope, paper etc. At rank 10, he can repair non-magical ceramic or stone items. At rank 15, he can repair non-magical metal items or magical items of ceramic or stone while, at rank 22, he can repair non-magical items of any material up to 10 pounds in weight. The spell cannot repair items that have been sitting untouched for more than (Rank x 2) years.

This spell can never repair magical metal armor although it can repair magical leather armor at rank 5 and higher. Leather armor includes leather vests, leather armor and reinforced leather armor, but not ring mail, scale mail, chain mail or plate.
