When in a completely or mostly (e.g. a tunnel) enclosed area no larger than 1000 cu.ft. per rank (a 10x10x10 area per rank), the mage is able to sense the location of solid objects within 3 (+2/rank) feet. This ability is based on sound, so a mage who cannot hear, cannot employ this talent. Only the general outline of objects may be noted, though the mage can attempt a Spatial Awareness perception roll (at +5/rank plus PER modifier) to gain more clues about a given object.
Spatial Awareness is a targeting sense in that the mage can target anyone he detects with this ability with both touch and ranged attacks, provided they are within range of the talent.
Note: This talent may be used in any enclosed area. The mage need not be underground. |
