Burning Hands
When the wizard chooses this effect, a jet of searing flame shoots from his fingertips. His hands must be held so as to send forth a fanlike sheet of flames: The wizard's thumbs must touch each other and the fingers must be spread. The burning hands send out flame jets 5 feet long in a horizontal arc of about 120 degrees in front of the wizard. Any creature in the area of the flames suffers 1d4 points, plus 1 point per rank, of fire damage. Those who make a Magic Save take half damage. Flammable materials touched by the fire burn (for example, cloth, paper, parchment, thin wood, etc.). Such materials can be extinguished in the next round if no other action is taken.

Firebolt
Any target of the casters choice is struck by a bolt of fire emanating from the casters fingers. The target suffers 1d6 damage per rank, or half if a Magic save is made.

If the target fails to resist and is himself flammable or is wearing flammable clothing, the target will ignite as a result of the bolt of fire if the saving throw roll was 96 or greater. The bolt will always travel its full range unless it hits a target, even if this means bouncing off a wall and turning back on itself to strike the caster.

Fireball
The spell affects a 20 foot diameter area. The entirety of the effected area must be within the casters range for the spell to be effective. All targets within the blast radius suffer 1d6 damage per rank, or half if a Magic save is successful.

Demonic Firebolt
Any target of the casters choice is struck by a bolt of fire emanating from the casters fingers. The target suffers 1d8 damage per rank, or half if a Magic save is made at -10.

If the target fails to resist and is himself flammable or is wearing flammable clothing, the target will ignite as a result of the bolt of fire if the saving throw roll was 91 or greater. The bolt will always travel its full range unless it hits a target, even if this means bouncing off a wall and turning back on itself to strike the caster.

Demonic Fireball
The mage casts a massive fireball, with a maximum range of 25 feet per rank and a fireball diameter of 30 feet. All targets within the area of effect take 1d8 damage per rank, or half if a Magic save is made at -20.

Dragonflames
The mage creates a dragon flames effect where the flames emanate from the caster and affect a conical area in front of him out to 30 feet, with a terminus of 10 feet. All targets within the area of effect take 1d8 damage per rank, or half if a Magic save is made at -20.

Hellfire
This invisible fire attacks one human-sized target for every 3 ranks (or fraction of 3) the caster has achieved. The targets save at -20. The spell does 1d8 per rank. All targets must be in range, but need not be near each other.

Storm of Fire
Once per minute, the mage can call down a ball of fire (identical to Fireball spell). Once called, the ball descends from the sky and arrives at the designated target location the following round. Once called, the mage does not need to take any further action to have it hit the target location. The mage may perform other actions while this spell is in effect except on the round when he calls a fireball. This spell may only be cast outdoors, or in extremely large open areas where the ceiling is at least 500 feet high. Each additional fireball beyond the first costs 1 additional spell point.
