This very subtle spell can be cast during the course of normal conversation without being noticed. The wizard asks a question and the target will answer it truthfully without realizing that he was compelled to do so by a spell. Only those with a WP of 20 or higher are allowed a mental save to avoid the compulsion of the spell and, if successful, they cannot be compelled to answer the same question again. A separate save is made for each question (q.v.). If the target rolls critical success, then they need not make any more saves for additional questions from the same spell. If grievous success is rolled, the result is the same as critical success plus they realize that some magic is being used to compel truthfulness.
Only simple questions with short answers can be asked and the query must be in the form of a question. "Take me to your hideout," is not a question and thus is not a valid use of this spell.
The number of questions that the wizard can ask is dependent on rank, as indicated below. All questions must be asked and answered within the duration of the spell.
This spell can only be cast on a target once per 24 hours.

1-5 | 1 |
6-10 | 2 |
11-15 | 3 |
