- Annoyance indicates that the power is annoyed and refuses to answer the question; instead, the power causes the wizard to perform some service (by an ultrapowerful geas or quest).
- Indifference means that the power provides some minor vision, though it may be unrelated to the question.
- Vision indicates that the power grants the vision.
The material component of the spell is the sacrifice of something valued by the spellcaster or by the power supplicated (it should have a value of 500 sp or more). The more precious the sacrifice, the better the chance of spell success. The GM will determine the bonus granted by the item sacrificed though it will generally be in the +1 to +15 range. The GM may also allow a significant sacrifice to move a result by a step (annoyance to indifference or indifference to vision). |
