The spell create a cloud of knockout gas in a 5 foot radius (+1 ft per rank) entirely within the mages range. Any character (including the mage) inhaling the gas must roll equal to or less than their current hit points on percentile dice or fall asleep for the duration of the spell. Creatures with a current hit point total of (rank x 4) or more, and those who do not require sleep, are immune to this spell. The gas only affects those who are in the area of effect when the spell is cast. Thereafter, creatures can freely pass through the area effect with no ill effect from the gas. |
