This rune can be inscribed on a weapon. On a successful hit that causes damage (i.e., damage gets through PROT), the target must make a Magic Save or fall into a deep sleep from which it will be difficult to awaken them (requires 5 rounds of vigorous shaking, pouring water, shouting, etc. to awaken). Once the rune is used, whether the target saves or not, the rune loses potency for 2 minutes (12 rounds) before it can be used again. If no attempt is made to awaken the target, they will sleep for a minimum of 1 hour, though it could be longer depending on how long it has been since the target last slept.
Those who never sleep, and those with a CON of 25 or higher, are immune to this rune.
