The mage is able to transform the terrain within range to suit his needs. For example if this spell is cast on flat plains, the mage can create a permanent hill. If cast on a dead end canyon in the mountains, it can make a pass. All terrain changes must be within the maximum range of the spell.
Magical terrain cannot be so modified. Nor can any terrain inhabited by an earth elemental or other creature native to the plane of earth. Also immune is terrain inhabited by an Earth Mage who has knowledge of any arcane level spell. The spell will fail completely in any of these cases.
This spell takes 15 minutes to cast, at the end of which time the transformation is complete. |
