The mage may employ this ritual to bind the will of one entity that is physically present and either unconscious or otherwise restrained. The ritual takes one hour and lasts for one day per rank. Once bound, the subject will remain bound until the effects of the ritual wear off or he breaks the psychic bonds restraining him. The subject gets one chance to break the bonds at the end of the ritual. If successful, the bonds are broken and he is free. The caster may never release the subject from servitude voluntarily, and the magic continues to work even after the caster is dead (the subject will dispose of the body and take the deceased's personal effects to his widow/widower). If the subject makes their save the ritual may not be performed on subject again for the number of days equal to (WP / 2) of the subject.
Any time the target is ordered to perform a duty that is suicidal, he is allowed a Mental Save to break out of the servitude. |
