Saving Throw:Mental (-10) - Negates
The caster creates a storm of force centered on himself which hurls any and all objects, including living creatures) away from him at bone-breaking speed. All creatures and objects within 30 feet (+5 feet per rank) are affected. Those who succeed in a mental saving throw at -10 completely resist the effects of the spell.

If the object or creature hits an immovable object (wall, tree, boulder, etc.), they suffer damage based on rank and proximity to the caster. Base damage is 1d4 damage per rank. This number is reduced by 1d4 per 10 feet from the caster. Thus, a rank 10 caster would cause 10d4 to all creatures within 10 feet, 9d4 to those 11 to 20 feet away, and so on.

As all objects are also hurled away from the caster, they will take additional damage if they hit a solid object before being ejected from the area of effect. This additional damage is equal to 1d6 per 5 feet traveled but is reduced by protection (PROT).

Those with Acrobatics skill can attempt a skill roll to reduce the additional damage by 50% (25% for Near Success, 10% for Partial Success) after applying PROT. Acrobatics only applies to the additional damage taken from hitting an object.

Example one: Derrick is standing against a wall 20 feet from the rank 12 caster when the spell goes off. Base damage is 12d4 but, since he is 11 to 20 feet away, he takes only 11d4. He is also hurled away but, since he is standing against the wall, he doesn't travel far enough to take any additional damage.

Example two: Navar is standing right next to the rank 12 caster when the spell goes off. He takes 12d4 damage. He is also sent hurling away. There is a wall 20 feet away that he hits and takes another 4d6 damage. Navar has Acrobatics and makes a successful roll so the additional damage from the 4d6 is cut in half after applying PROT.

Example three: Nurel is 50 feet away from the rank 12 caster on the other side of a wall. He is still affected by the spell. Base damage is 12d4 but, because he is 50 feet away, he only takes 8d4. He is also hurled away and hits a tree after traveling 40 feet, taking another 8d6 damage. Nurel has no Acrobatics skill so the additional damage is only reduced by his PROT.

Note that all examples assume a failed saving throw.
