This spell is identical to the Change Self talent except that it may be used on other targets. Up to 1 target per 3 ranks can be thus disguised (1 target at ranks 1 to 3, 2 targets at ranks 4 to 6, etc.). If all targets are being changed to looked roughly identical (e.g., all targets will look like fairly generic orcs), then the spell takes only 1 round to cast and every target will look suspiciously similar. This may not be an issue for a group of similar looking orcs that run into anything other than another group of orcs but if they run into a group of orcs, any intelligent orcs (i.e., Uruk-kai) will be very suspicous. Otherwise the caster can take one round per target to make them look sufficiently different to pass such scrutiny.
At rank 12, the caster can affect clothing and non-magical equipment.
Rank with this spell cannot exceed rank with the Change Self talent. |
