When the mage is attacked with a spell or other magical effect (including psionics) that causes them to fall asleep or otherwise go unconscious (e.g. SOTM S1 - Mental Attack), this talent automatically activates if the mage has spell points available. One spell point is used and the mage gains a bonus of 2% per rank to their magic save. The mage can choose to suppress this talent to keep from activating. If the attack succeeds, the duration of the sleep or unconsciousness is reduced by 4% per rank (assuming the talent was not suppressed).
Once activated, the sleep resistance continues for 1 round per rank. The talent will not automatically activate again if already active. |
