By means of this spell, the mage is able to cause plants in the area of effect (10 foot radius, +1 foot per rank) to entangle creatures. The grasses, weeds, bushes and even trees wrap, twist, and entwine about the creatures, thus holding them fast for the duration of the spell. The strength of the entangle is equal to 10 (+2 per rank). If a Saving Throw is made, the creature has avoided the Entanglement, but must continue making saving throws every action that they are in the area of effect. To break out of an entangle, the trapped character must make a resisted Str roll against the entangle (c.f., STR vs. STR rolls). |
