This rune can be inscribed on a weapon, shield or armor. The wielder can use command words to shift the form of the item. The shift is limited to like forms within the category. Each shift takes 10 seconds.
- Leather armor category - leather vest, leather armor, reinforced leather armor, scale mail
- Metal armor category - ring mail, chain mail, plate mail, plate armor
- Shield category - buckler, small round shield, large round shield, kite shield, tower shield
- Sword category - dagger, short sword, long sword, broad sword, bastard sword, two-handed sword
- Hafted weapon category - blackjack, hand axe, battle axe, mace, morning star, war hammer
- Pole arm category - staff, spear, et.al.
- Bow category - short bow, long bow, composite short bow, composite long bow
- Crossbow category - hand crossbow, light crossbow, heavy crossbow
