By expending one spell point, the mage can use this ability to read the aura of a living or formerly living entity. This method of aura reading, if successful, allows the mage to learn 1 fact about the target. In game terms, the mage asks the GM a question about the target and the GM provides the answer. Chance of success is equal to ((MA - 15) x 3) + (Rank x 5). The target must be within (Rank x 5) feet. Critical and grievous success with the roll allows one or two, respectively, additional questions. The nature of the question is somewhat open and the GM is the final arbitrar on whether a question is legitimate. In general, the question should be about the nature of the target, including what they may have seen or heard in the past.

Once this talent is used, it cannot be used on the same target for one year.

Living targets are allowed a magic save to resist and, if successful, no questions can be asked and they cannot be targeted again for one year.

Use of this ability costs 1 spell point.
