Mages of this college are more or less immune to pain. They cannot be tortured or stunned. In addition, if there is a chance that their concentration may have been broken they get a special save to maintain their concentration. This save is equal to the mage's (WP x 2) + (Rank x 2). Their concentration in never automatically broken (i.e. is never broken without a check to see if they maintain concentration).
Mage's of this college automatically save against spells such as Agony and any subsequent pain penalties are reduced by (Rank x 2).
Wound penalties in combat are also reduced for mages with this talent. The penalty is reduced by 1 per rank (no penalty at rank 22). For example, someone who is at 11 to 20 hit points remaining normally suffers a -10 to all actions. If the mage was rank 5 in this ability, they would suffer only a -5 to all actions. If they were rank 10 or higher, they would have no penalty for being at 11 to 20 hit points. |
